Relax - Enjoy - Return
At The Fawley, we are committed to making your holiday experience the best it can be.
We are currently in the process of risk assessing The Fawley and what we do so that we can ensure your (and our) health and safety in regard to Covid-19 coronavirus. We want you to feel confident that The Fawley will be as safe as possible. At present we are awaiting details from the Government regarding the best safe practices and when we receive these we will incorporate them into our risk assessment. This will then form the procedures and protocols that we will follow. We will be accessing "Good to Go" accreditation from Enjoy England to give guests security in the knowledge that things are being done as safely and as well as they can be.
As it seems we will all need to be aware of safe distances from each other for the foreseeable future we will operate a one-way system around the guest house. You will be asked to enter by the left hand door that is set back down the side path (as indeed you always have done) but you should exit through the main front door in the Reception area. You are asked to use your own judgement regarding waiting if you hear someone else coming up or down the stairs and to wait a safe distance away (for example in your own room) until other guests have passed you in corridors. You may wish to wear a mask inside the house but (providing government guidelines confirm this) this should be optional.
You will be asked to pre-select your breakfast to avoid close contact in the dining room. There will be a one-way system in the dining room as well and you will be advised of this on arrival.
We will be increasing our cleaning of frequently touched areas in the house and there will be plenty of hand sanitizer available. There is a downstairs toilet for hand washing if you wish to do so as soon as you enter The Fawley.
You may find that soft furnishing items such as cushions and throws are not in the rooms for a while and we apologize if this makes things a little less colourful and comfortable.
Hopefully we will have all areas covered but if there is anything you would like to see please let us know.
We hope you have a pleasant and safe stay at The Fawley.
